Financial Assistance Options for Special Needs Children

Financial assistance options for special needs children and children with chronic illnesses or disabilities include state services such as Women, Infants and Children (WIC) and the Social Security Administration (SSI) to help low income families pay for medical bills, treatments, equipment, food, rent, utilities, etc.

There are also private organizations and non-profit organizations that offer financial assistance to families of children with cancer, cerebral palsy, autism, ADHD / ADD and other disabilities and conditions.

Many of these are national health organizations like the American Cancer Society that help cancer patients pay for treatment or transportation to and from treatment. Other organizations that provide financial assistance include local churches and County programs.
