Letters from Donors piggy bank
The kids at Valley View Elementary School in Pleasanton worked really hard to donate money to Brave Kids.
donor letters

Dear Mr. Gannon,

I cleaned my room, helped my baby-brother, and assisted my mom in cleaning the house (which was a big help) just to donate money to Brave Kids. Hi, my name is Aditya. I am ten years old. I go to Valley View School in Pleasanton (which is cool) and I am in fifth grade. With the chores I did, I earned two dollars.

Two dollars might be a Christmas gift. Christmas is about giving, and I am giving two dollars. With this gift I hope they feel better.

I think everybody should support Brave Kids and donate money because I think Brave Kids is a great organization!

Yours Truly
Aditya

Mr. Gannon,

I earned fifteen dollars that I am donating to Brave Kids, by doing chores such as setting and clearing the table for dinner and cleaning up my dog's yard for a whole week! I also took some money out of my bank account. My name is Nathan. I am eleven, and in fifth grade at Valley View School in Pleasanton.

There are a few reasons I am donating to Brave Kids. One reason is that the holiday season is a time for giving. I don't know for sure but maybe the children at Brave Kids don't get as many gifts as I do. Donating some money might be like buying them a present.

Another reason is that donating some money might make the kids happy (not the money, but what is bought with it or what it is used for). Knowing people care about them getting better and being happy would be a nice thought.

I think that it is a great thing that you have donated so much to Brave Kids. I know that what I have donated is not as much as you have, but the holiday season is a time for giving, and making some children at Brave Kids happy will be the best gift I get this year.

Sincerely,
Nathan

Dear Mr. Gannon,

My teacher, Mr. Palassou tells every detail about each Raiders game. We found out about Brave Kids by the poster at the Raiders game that said "Rich Gannon supports Brave Kids."

My name is Daniela. I am eleven years old and in fifth grade. My classmates and I are donating money to Brave Kids. I washed the dishes so I could earn the money and donate it to Brave Kids. I'm going to donate five dollars.

Now that Christmas is coming and the holidays too, you may want to make those ill kids laugh! The way that you could make the little kids happy is to play with them, read to them, teach them things, maybe math, or how to read and write! If you help those ill kids they are going to become something special.

I'm sending money for Brave Kids so the children could get better. I hope they do!

Yours truly,
Daniela

Dear Mr. Gannon,

I cooked part of the dinner, vacuumed the house, and do you know who I'm going to give the money to? I'm giving ten dollars to Brave Kids. My name is Andrea and I'm in fifth grade in Mr. Palassous class at Valley View in Pleasanton.

Some reasons why I'm making this donation is because I feel really bad for those kids that are disabled or ill. In our classroom we have a poster that tells us how to act at school, one of the six traits on that poster is compassion. I always want to act like that not only at school but everywhere.

I asmire how you care, so much about those kids, I will try to do this every year. I hope my donation will make those kids live a lot better!

Signed,
Andrea
