Knowledge is Power!
Brave Kids harnesses United Cerebral Palsy’s (UCP) knowledge of health and disability issues that has been accruing for more than sixty years. Connecting individuals and families with the resources and services they need helps fulfill UCP’s mission of advancing the independence, productivity and full citizenship of people with a spectrum of disabilities.
A good starting place to find resources for children with special needs in your community is your State Title V/Children with Special Health Care Needs Program. Under federal law every state has a program to assist children with disabilities or chronic conditions and their families.
Look up your State program’s contact information.
